Executive functioning coaching
For/With
Students/Parents & Guardians
What I can offer:
My approach combines formal coaching training as a neurolinguistic practitioner focused on supporting neurodiverse students, lived professional and personal experience, and research-supported tools grounded in brain science. Through my work as an educator and administrator, I have been closely involved in student learning and student support teams, giving me firsthand insight into the challenges students often face with time management, distractibility, goal setting, follow-through, and self-advocacy. As the parent of a neurodiverse child, I am also continually learning how to best support her strengths while addressing areas of challenge. I understand how difficult it can be when a student wants to stay on top of schoolwork but struggles to do so, and how frustration and shame can build as a result. This perspective shapes my work with students and families as we create practical systems that reduce overwhelm, build confidence, and support follow-through.
Specifically I can:
help students prioritize, organize and strategize
work with students and parents to streamline online learning management platforms
assist, guide, support student/parent/teacher communication
assist with test prep, study skills acquisition
consult and coach students on effective time management and planning processes.
coach students with ongoing goal setting/reflection practices
I support students who struggle with starting tasks, managing multiple assignments and deadlines, and following through with their work.
Together, we work on the underlying mindsets that create obstacles, build confidence, and create practical systems that help students stay organized, motivated, and on track.

Science tutoring
For/With
Students
What I can offer:
I have taught middle school, high school, and collegiate level science courses. I have ample experience working with students of varying degrees of aptitude and interest in various science subjects.
I really love teaching science and my main focus has always been to emphasize patterns, point out practical applications of knowledge, and connect students to the content (even if tangentially) to make the material more meaningful.
Science thinking, learning, skills are essential and I think steering kids away from the details the specifics and the memorization helps them to see the beauty of the content versus seeing it as a chore to memorize.

homework help
enrichment opportunities
